"Will the Chiefs find their groove in time for the playoffs?"

I absolutely will never doubt the defending Champs, I never doubt Brady and I won't doubt Mahomes, he has proven all the doubters wrong so many times, just like Brady did. We doubted them after losing to Cincy, we did it after they lost to the Colts at home in 2019. I learned with Brady and Max Kellerman should have too. I will personally always believe that the Chiefs are never truly out of it. But, for the sake of an article, let's just have a look.

Let's look at the seasons Tom Brady won the Super Bowl. In 2001, the Patriots started 5-5 and rang off 6 straight wins to finish 11-5 and winning the division over the Miami Dolphins and obviously winning the Super Bowl. In 2003 they started 2-2 and then rang off 12 straight wins. 2004 has the Pats at worst 6-1 and won the Super Bowl. The Pats lost to Denver in the AFC Championship and then started the 2014 season 2-2 after a 41-14 blowout to the Kansas City Chiefs, they rang off 7 straight wins before losing again, then they won 3 more before losing to Buffalo, they beat the Seahawks in the Super Bowl that year. In 2016, Brady had the 4 game suspension and trailed 28-3 in the Super Bowl, they won the Super Bowl. In 2019, they started 1-2 with two straight losses to the Jaguars and Lions, they finished 11-5 and won the Super Bowl. What I'm saying is, don't doubt the Chiefs.

The one difference from the times Mahomes was doubted is that his defense was the biggest issue, this time the offense is the major problem and the defense consistently does its job. Patrick Mahomes WILL find his footing but the problem, will his receivers? Well, it really can't get much worse than how it is. Mahomes is one of those quarterbacks that will take over when things get bad, it almost seems like he can just place the ball in his receivers arms with some sort of forcefield and it's really fucking annoying when he does it against the Colts. I guess i'm saying, it's not over until it's over.
