again go check out Draft America Spr check out Spring Hill sports cards and let's go.

Okay, fellas, game one Friday night. by the time this releases, game one will probably already have happened. I wanna get the predictions. What is what is your bold prediction for this World Series? I'm gonna start with Mike on this one.

speaker-1 (01:07)

Bold prediction in terms of result or that

speaker-0 (01:11)

Just anything anything bold, anything that you think that you see that not everyone else is seeing.

speaker-1 (01:18)

I think we're gonna see Mizorowski have a big outing out of the bullpen in this series.

speaker-2 (01:24)

I like

that. Yeah.

Randy Johnson, Chris Sale vibes. Yeah. I could see it in like a game four, game five kind of.

speaker-1 (01:33)

Game seven. Game seven.

speaker-2 (01:35)

Give me that.

speaker-0 (01:36)

Caleb, what's your what's your bold prediction for this one?

speaker-2 (01:40)

this might not have been bald eight years ago, but I my pick to win World Series MVP is gonna be Christian Yelich. I think he's gonna have multiple home runs in the series. the Rays, as far as I know, are gonna roll out a pretty righty heavy rotation. And I I could see that as a good opportunity for Yelich to just mash some righties in the in the World Series.

speaker-0 (02:06)

Mike World Series MVP

speaker-1 (02:09)

I might as well stick with

The Miz, if I'm gonna pick the Brewers, I think just keeps in line with what Freddy Peralta one in the AL ALCS. because I feel like there's gonna be a lot of good but not incredible offensive performances in this series. It's just such a it's it's a really hard series to pick, and I I do worry that the Brewers are being overvalued. the line moving up as high, I've seen as two hundred because I think you know Nick Martinez starting game one has scared a lot of people off. But the flip side is if the race

Take game one, they've got Rasmussen and Peralta lined up for two and three.

speaker-2 (02:45)

I guess I already gave my my V Pick. It's Yelitch, but I'll throw another hot take out there. I think Gary Sanchez is gonna have a massive hit in this series. Most likely

speaker-0 (02:56)

Another throwback. Another throwback. Yeah.

speaker-1 (02:59)

Maybe eight.

speaker-0 (03:00)

Years ago that's not a big deal.

speaker-2 (03:01)

Guy with postseason experience, the Rays like to play matchups and ninety percent of the time the offensive team is gonna be able to have that advantage in those matchups. And I can see Gary Sanchez coming off the bench against like an Ian Seymour type of guy or Cam Boozer and just hitting an absolute moonshot late in the game.

speaker-0 (03:20)

I wanna go down the the lineups and just say who who is better where basically, like each position, who what team do you think has the edge? Start with the catcher. who who is better at the catcher position between these two teams?

speaker-2 (03:37)

I don't think there's a question.

speaker-1 (03:39)

What's that?

speaker-2 (03:40)

I don't think there's a question.

speaker-1 (03:41)

Yeah,

I think obviously Milwaukee with Contreras, of course.

speaker-2 (03:44)

Gonna be William. Liam Hicks

speaker-1 (03:47)

Mickey.

speaker-2 (03:48)

sneaky good season from Liam Hicks, but yeah, William Pontrarius is a top three catcher in the game.

speaker-0 (03:54)

First base.

speaker-1 (03:55)

Right now, I mean, gotta roll with the you gotta roll with the w NLCS MVP, I think. I know Ronda's really good. It's a tough call, but if Bowers keeps battling and and putting at bats like he did together, that just made that that increases his value beyond the offensive production. It's what it does for the rest of the lineup, it's what it does to the pitching staff. He's been so crazy impressive. I'm going with recency bias and I'm giving Milwaukee the edge there.

speaker-2 (04:22)

Yeah, the overall player, I mean, if you're talking if we coming into the playoffs, we're probably saying Ronda. We're definitely saying Ronda, but the playoffs is about who's hot and Jake Bowers is hotter than probably anyone else in this series right now.

speaker-0 (04:39)

Second base.

speaker-1 (04:40)

Yeah, I mean I love Palacios. He went to my alma mater. He's had some big hits, but I don't know how you can not give the edge to Bryce Tarang and the Brewers there.

speaker-2 (04:49)

Yeah, I'm going trying to and it's definitely not just because Palacios walked off the Red Sox when I went to the trap last month.

speaker-0 (04:58)

shortstop.

speaker-1 (04:59)

Mm. Well, I think e again, the brewers, I mean, it's right. What do you think? Cooper Pratt over the

speaker-2 (05:08)

Yeah.

speaker-1 (05:09)

walls? I mean

speaker-2 (05:10)

Would it be Walls? Yeah. Pratt. Walls great glove though. I I I do like the role he he plays on the race.

speaker-1 (05:21)

Yeah, I mean he had a and he was on base I think three times in what was it, game four or five, but for the most part he's been, you know, a bottom of the order bat that's performed at exactly that level.

speaker-0 (05:33)

Third base.

speaker-1 (05:34)

Obvious one there, of course.

speaker-2 (05:36)

It's obviously

it's David Hamilton.

speaker-0 (05:39)

David

Hamilton, of course. Red

speaker-1 (05:41)

I was gonna say four

speaker-0 (05:42)

Sox a legend.

speaker-1 (05:43)

Yeah, but Joey Ortiz but yeah, Hamilton of course had that monster home run, but obviously Cam Monero being the forty plus homer guy that he is and and the Rays really need him to they need him to continue to bounce back. He was a little slow at the start in that Cleveland series. He was getting exposed on a lot of high fastballs, but if he found his power stroke the way we think he did at the end of that ALCS, I mean that really that really bodes well for Tampa.

speaker-2 (06:08)

I'm very excited to see multiple Camonero Mizorowski matchups. And regardless if the way the Rays win the series or not, there's gonna be a home run that Camonero hits where he's going to take about four to six business days to get around the bases. Yeah. Which no hate there. I I don't like Camonero, but I love that stuff.

speaker-0 (06:27)

Yeah, I I don't hate it either. I I wanted to talk about that. If you hate that, especially a small market team like the Rays, and you're at home, you're you're a loser if you hate that. That was fucking awesome. It's great.

speaker-2 (06:40)

He was doing he was doing it in WBC. That's the player he is. He plays with passion. I like it. Yeah.

speaker-0 (06:45)

I think if it's a guy who never shows emotion and then all of a sudden does that, I would almost be on the other side. I'm like, I don't know, that's not his personality. It might be for show, but he's clearly like that's just what he does. He just goes fucking nuts over everything.

Mike, what do you think? He's gonna be like that was fucking stupid.

speaker-2 (07:07)

Well

speaker-1 (07:08)

I think to an extent have some fun. I don't think take forty five seconds to run around. There's no equivalent for the pitcher to be able to do that. What's he gonna do? Stand there and do the Heraldus Chapman for you know 30 seconds burn the pitch.

speaker-0 (07:20)

I would love that. I would love that.

speaker-1 (07:23)

That's the only thing. I think if if it could go both ways, you could do that that what's that guy, Jan, Jeffrey Jan or something on the and

speaker-2 (07:30)

For the

speaker-0 (07:31)

The Mets.

speaker-1 (07:32)

everything? Yeah. I guess that's

speaker-0 (07:34)

All this

Chapman, the Chapman stare down, that one's a good one.

speaker-1 (07:37)

The chat.

speaker-2 (07:38)

It

works 'cause he threw a hundred and five.

speaker-0 (07:41)

where are we at? Left field, left field.

speaker-1 (07:43)

for you love Christian Yellow. This is a tough

speaker-2 (07:46)

Well Yelich has been primarily DHing, I think, for them. I think it's been sh has Churio been in left?

speaker-0 (07:53)

He's he is starting tonight in Lifetime.

speaker-1 (07:56)

So then we gotta get

speaker-2 (07:58)

Interesting conversation because I th I think Chandler Simpson fits really well with how the Rays play. I don't particularly love that he's been like anywhere from three to five in the order. I like the idea. my old head take is that your best contact slash speed guy should be hitting leadoff. So it'd be kinda I'd love to see Simpson in leadoff, but I I kinda like the way he fits the Rays.

more than Churio's like pure talent, if that makes sense.

speaker-1 (08:31)

Yeah, I mean I still have to go with Cherio and a lot of people he's one of the I think he's the favorite for World Series MVP. But Chandler Simpson simply putting the ball in play. I like him hitting third. I like him hitting third because, you know, that whole kind of traditional one, two, three, well, you hope two guys get on and Camonero, it's a three run homer, but you get those guys on, you know, Simpson can bunt him over. He puts the ball in play, creates chaos on the bases, then he sets the stage e for an even bigger inning if Camonero's hitting fourth. I actually really like that maneuver to have

Simpson go against type and hit third in the order. But as you know, terms of your question, Alex, of course I think I gotta go with Jack Centurio.

speaker-0 (09:10)

Yeah, the Simpsons bunt in game six where he's like almost at the bag by the time the ball gets to the pitcher, is just I mean, if you have a guy like I that's Willie Mays Hayes. That's that's the guy who creates all the chaos. and he can swing a game like that w momentum wise. center field.

speaker-1 (09:31)

J you go first this time.

speaker-2 (09:37)

I think

I'd go with the hot hand and the the same kind of logic with Yelich is the Rays have a very heavy right handed pitching staff, or at least the starting rotation. And I kinda like the way Garrett Mitchell swung it in the NLCS. I kind I kinda do lean Garrett Mitchell here over would it be De Luca or the platoon of De Luca and Mullins or

speaker-1 (10:02)

Yeah, yeah. I don't

speaker-0 (10:04)

'Cause I think he's starting tonight.

speaker-1 (10:06)

Yeah.

speaker-2 (10:06)

Absolutely.

speaker-1 (10:07)

DeLuca's biggest moment. I mean Mullins had a homer in the ALCS and DeLuca did have a game tying homer in August against Mason Miller, but Mitchell, the catch the catch against Machado, the home in game four. I mean, he's been and game three, right? I think he hit Homers in back to back games, didn't he? I mean, this this kid is like finally

Realizing potential. So I'll take him over either guy the Rays have there.

speaker-0 (10:32)

Right field.

speaker-1 (10:34)

first again. I've been going first.

speaker-0 (10:36)

Caleb,

yeah.

speaker-2 (10:38)

is this another platoon kind of Mesa and Vellati? Vallade? Kind of. I don't know. the Rays are kind of weird. Vladi Vallade, I don't know how to pronounce it, whatever. Villade. He's been he he swung it well in the in the C S, I think he had a Homer in the C S. but I don't know, I I like I like Sal Freelick's athleticism, good glove, speed guy. I

I lean South Freelick here. Again, right handed heavy. braze rotation. You can see it is a good opportunity for the left handed hitters.

speaker-1 (11:16)

Yeah, Frelick is he's a little bit kinda w wants to be what Chandler Simpson is. little guy, he's slap hitter, puts up pretty good at bats. and Luis Lara.

Right? I mean young guy that has had some clutch hits. See, I like Victor Mesa, but man, he's swinging at everything. Now when he connects, it goes a long way. But when he looks bad, he looks really bad. He's got a cannon of an arm. This is really close. Really, really close. Because Villade to be a big homer in game three against the against the Yankees. I'm gonna say it's even and a little bit of a cop out. And I'm gonna say there's there's not enough distinguishable difference here for me.

speaker-2 (11:54)

Especially 'cause there's kind of a tandem on both ends.

speaker-1 (11:57)

Yeah.

speaker-2 (11:58)

I don't know how those I don't have those platoon stats in front of me, but

I I just like the pure talent of the Brewers guys better.

speaker-1 (12:05)

Yeah.

speaker-2 (12:06)

I'd really like Laura.

speaker-0 (12:07)

Starting rotation.

speaker-1 (12:09)

Hmm. I gotta go with the rays. Because yeah, maybe the Miz is better than anybody out there.

But Rasmussen's close. Peralta's coming off winning MVP honors. And the difference to me is the three, the three and four, potentially four. I give Peralta the nod over Logan Henderson. I'll give Martinez the nod over Gasser, although he pitched well. And the Brewers don't really have a fourth starter. Now the you could argue Griffin Jackson pitched great, but I just I just love the way this trio is rolling right now. Henderson was okay. Gasser pitched well at one outing, but I like who do you

Do you trust either a Henderson or a Gasser, or for that matter, like Dustin May to go out and like when let's say the bullpen gets taxed, they go extra innings tonight, game one. Who do you trust to then go out and give you seven strong tomorrow or game three to alleviate some of that stress? I would I would lean more towards the race, especially because the way they have things set up with Rasmussen and Peralta now going games two and three.

speaker-2 (13:14)

Yeah, I'm also leaning the rays on this. Not even leaning. I'm I'm fully taking the race. Rasmussen's a demon. Not enough people give him credit for what he does. Not even just like this year's postseason. Just he's consistent every year, sub three RA guy. if he threw more innings consistently, he'd probably be talked about as a top 10 kind of ace guy. I'm shocked he's not going game one. I know it's it's probably

A little weird with how the the the schedule set up for the race, but I just completely all through the rotation, I feel I would feel safe if they were throwing a postseason game for the Red Sox. Rasmus and Peralta, I two guys that arguably either of them could have won ALCS MVP. and then Nick Martinez feels like a very safe option. The Brewers have their guys that

It's it it could be a n a good ceiling. I really like Henderson, I really like Gasser. I'm curious what a guy guys like Kyle Harrison Brandon Woodruff are gonna do. I don't know what if they've announced

speaker-1 (14:24)

That's crazy. Yeah.

speaker-2 (14:26)

I don't know if they've announced a game four starter, but I I feel I would feel a lot more safe with the guys the Razor b rolling out.

speaker-1 (14:34)

Yeah, interesting to see. I mean, do you does he suddenly jump in and make a start after all this time off? I can't see it being anything opener.

speaker-2 (14:41)

Yeah, he he hasn't thrown since July. I don't know how much of a simulated games he's been throwing, but it's hard to recreate that kind of adrenaline you're gonna have in the in a World Series game. So I can see him being out of the bullpen for an inning or two, maybe like a a la crochet in the wildcard game this year, which we know how that played out, but

That'd interesting to see.

speaker-0 (15:04)

Bowl pen.

speaker-1 (15:05)

man, Brewers bullpen has just been so darn good this postseason. I mean the Rays, like don't sleep on the Rays bullpen. and I think you're pretty pretty even at at closer. May even give a slight edge to to Baker over McGill, but the dip the the swing guy in this vote is Aaron Ashby. He's just been so insanely good in this kind of Andrew Miller type role. a rebay at that one outing.

in game three, but he's been dominant. You know, Jojo Romero, just so many power arms down there. And then as you said, Caleb, like the return of Woodruff, could he factor in to be a weapon here too? you know, I I like Tyler Wells, former Oriol, he was a little shaky in the last series. Kevin Kelly pretty reliable. Cam Boozer, been a great bounce back story, but I think overall I trust the depth and the power arms of the Brewers.

speaker-2 (16:00)

Yeah, I'd also le lean the Brewers on this one. Aaron Ashby was just lights out. Was it twelve and a third scoreless? or twelve and a third. I don't

speaker-1 (16:12)

Yeah.

speaker-2 (16:13)

did he give up a run? I don't I don't have that in front of me. But twelve and a third just dominance though. rebays a stud. I I I really like the idea of Shane Johan out the pen, Kyle Harrison as lefties,

Tentatella could be an option. And then who knows after game three what's gonna happen with if they're gonna throw Ms. for an inning, Dustin May out of the pen, who knows? I I like just the ceiling of the brewer's bullpen a lot better. The guys like Ian Seymour, like you said, wells out of the bullpen for the rays, kinda shaky. Cole Sulser, Steven Matt.

speaker-1 (16:56)

Yeah, he almost man.

speaker-2 (16:57)

Seymour wanted nothing

to do with that game. But yeah, I would definitely lean Brewers. I'd I'm I'm I don't know why I'm not sold on Brian Baker, but that's my maybe that's another hot take for me. It's

speaker-1 (17:13)

Yeah, I mean kind of feels like, you know, you certainly do for a bad outing.

speaker-2 (17:19)

Maybe I watch Brian Baker too much on the Orioles to yeah form an opinion on Ray's Brian Baker.

speaker-1 (17:25)

But the fact that he's not on the Orioles anymore means he's he's probably just gonna continue to build his legend.

speaker-0 (17:33)

And then the bench. these guy who who's a guy that you're gonna see come off the bench and have an impact? you know, maybe just a guy that's not in the starting lineup right now.

speaker-1 (17:46)

yeah, I mean you said Gary Sanchez and he's actually I mean he had

an incredible at bat against Mason Miller in game two that preceded the Cheerio hit to win that game. we know, you know, Andrew Vaughn is kind of a he's an interesting guy, he's a platoon at first baseman. All the attention's gone to Bowers. Vaughn was like he carried the Brewers offensively at one point last year after they traded for him. I want to see Luis Lara, though f as far as the Brewers go. You got this this young dynamo. He's twenty-one.

You know, he's only had 10 at bats this postseason, but you know, obviously he's he's gonna be a really good player, I think, for a while. You know, got into 61 games this year, hit 246. Not you know, more so speed, he's a great outfielder. I I would love to see him have a moment. I think if there's maybe a a brewer though I would pick off the bench, I'm gonna say Vaughn, just cause you took Gary Sanchez already. and for the Rays.

Love Cedric Mullins, former Oriol, we know Valayed. How about Ben Williamson though? Ben Williamson say he might have a big hit at some point for the Rays.

speaker-2 (18:58)

Yeah, I said earlier in the show I think Gary Sanchez is gonna come off the bench or have some kind of big moment off of the left handed pitcher. And I'd go with that for the Brewers and

Yeah, I'd roll with Mullins for the race. I don't know what their plan is in terms of platooning him and De Luca, but I could see Mullins having a big swing off the bench off of a right handed pitcher. in terms of pure talent and how the matchups kind of could work out, I probably do like the Brewers bench more, but Kevin Cash, you never know how he how he can play those matchups and the magic he can work maybe this week.

speaker-0 (19:42)

Yeah. Is there a guy that you guys have in mind that's gonna have a bad moment? Like someone that that we might look back and be like, shit, remember when this guy gave up that home run or this guy made a big error in the field? Is there just a guy in your mind that you see and you're like, This guy

speaker-1 (20:01)

You you take this one.

speaker-2 (20:03)

haven't thought about it and maybe this is my Red Sox fan brain going, but Junior's not the greatest fielder at third. I don't know, some he I could see maybe the him getting too gassed up in the moment, which I mean that's never affected him before, but

speaker-0 (20:23)

He's never been in this moment though. Yeah.

speaker-2 (20:25)

Maybe he gets gassed up in the moment and his brain's going too quick and boots a big play at third. I don't know. I'm not I'm not exactly experienced in predicting tragedies.

speaker-1 (20:41)

Well you guys are okay, you guys are Red Sox fans. In you know, in 2004, in the first two games of that series, the Red Sox made eight errors. Still won both games and they swept the series. The Brewers had three error game against the Padres and one. it's kinda like the theme has been just make the big defensive plays when you have to, right?

'Cause the Brewer I looked it up. The Rays were actually, I think, twentieth in fielding percentage this year. I think the Brewers were second. But the Rays have only made one error in nine games this postseason. And the Brewers have made eight in eight games. I'm not saying it's necessarily going to continue. But I don't know, Cooper Pratt's young, man, he he

He's gonna make an error. He's gonna make a big error at some point. I dunno.

speaker-0 (21:32)

If the Brewers are gonna win the World Series, what are the three keys?

speaker-1 (21:35)

I well, I'm gonna say they gotta they gotta take two on the road. I think Mo I think they're gonna split out these first two games. I do. I don't know. I I just have a feeling Tampa's gonna get one in Milwaukee. I think they gotta they're gonna win at the drop. I think they gotta get length, like at least five or six innings from Henderson and Gasser in those two games. I I feel like if they 'cause if they start going to their bullpen early in games, early in the series, that tips the scales

In the Rays' favor. They get a look at these guys, these power arms could tire out. That's a key for the Brewers and and for the Rays for that matter. Can they get those guys out of the game? and I think for the Brewers, I I'll say the last one, keep hitting homers. Keep hitting homers. They weren't supposed to do that, right? They had the fewest and they out homered the Dodgers what five nothing, six nothing or something in the L T S. Not supposed to happen.

Right? That's how you sweep a dynasty out of the way. you hit you out homer But if they don't I don't know, but if the Rays are the team with the power stroke, that that would concern me a little bit.

speaker-0 (22:46)

Caleb three keys.

speaker-2 (22:47)

Well you stole my home as one, so I'll I'll chalk that up as one. I mean I believe the Brewers have hit the most home runs in the postseason this year. I don't know I don't have that in front of me, but I'm pretty sure I saw that.

I think Miz has gotta be the certified ace. We've seen guys like Kershaw and Price and guys that have come out and won signing awards and then just got just crumbled and got their teeth kicked in in the postseason. I think Miz has gotta come out and be that six inning, seven inning kind of guy of just dominance. And

I'd say my third one is Pat Murphy playing matchups the right way with his bullpen. He's got a lot of diversity in terms of lefty, righty, and his bullpen as options. He's got a lot of platoon options off the bench. I think when you're going against a very seasoned smart manager like Kevin Cash, you've got to outmanage him.

speaker-1 (23:57)

I wanna add in that after twenty twenty, the key for the Rays is Kevin Cash not outmanaging himself. And my question is if the Rays lose game one with Martinez, did he outmanage himself saying, Well, if we steal game one then we got Rasmussen? But like Drew's on normal rest, Freddie would be on normal rest, I think. I think. Or maybe Freddie well I don't I don't even know. Yes, he would. So he's already tempting fate a little bit, right? And I I forgot about this. I wanted to throw this out there, my buddy

reminded me. Did Blake Snell getting lit up in the seventh inning of game three take Kevin Cash off the hook for pulling Snell early in the twenty twenty World Series? Like see, see, Blake was running out of gas.

Just had to throw that one out.

speaker-0 (24:40)

It twenty

t it was twenty twenty. I don't think anyone really

speaker-1 (24:43)

Right.

Yeah, a lot less mileage at that point. Although, you know, but to be fair, Snell he didn't throw a lot of innings this year either, right? He he had thrown I don't know, like forty, fifty, sixty innings or something all season. So kinda interesting.

speaker-0 (24:58)

Brewers, Brewers are the postseason leader in home runs. They have ten right now. The postseason leader in runs is the Guardians, intro interestingly enough. forty one runs. the Brewers are second with thirty four. So I just found that a little little interesting. and then Caleb, I'll let you take this one. keys for the Rays to win the World Series.

speaker-2 (25:22)

Think you gotta get length out of your starters. maybe it's just a vibes thing for me, but I I don't have full trust in the race bullpen. I think a positive series comes out with at least their first three guys getting six innings out of them. quality starts.

And I think Junior's gotta gotta step it up. He is kinda been I wouldn't say non existent, but he hasn't had he didn't have the kind of impact in the ALCS that he had, basically in the regular season. I we saw how he stepped up in the WBC, hit some big homers, had some big moments. I think he's gotta have a couple big moments in this series.

I don't know if I have a third one right now.

speaker-0 (26:16)

Mike.

speaker-1 (26:17)

What was was Ron Darling was saying to win any postseason series, you gotta get to a team's closer once. I think if the Ra if the Rays can get to either Ashby or McGill, obviously you could make the same case for the Brewers with Baker. I think it's kinda just counter to what I

was saying before the other side of it, Rays have to crack the Brewers bullpen. They have to they have to take a little bit of that aura away that Milwaukee is bringing in from the series against San Diego and LA. I think that's huge.

I would say Nick Martinez is the key I mean, because now that he's starting game one and presumably game five, you know, all of a sudden his role as opposed to, you know, we would have thought, okay, he's gonna start game three and then maybe he's in like an all hands on deck situation if it goes seven. But this guy being, you know, the crafty veteran who just bounced back, he's he's what, thirty six years old, had an all star season.

He's never pitched quite this well in his career. And now he's he might hold the keys to the entire series. Because if they do take game one, then they're in great shape. And then game five, he's gonna come back and pitch game five, probably. So I would say Nick Martinez. and then I'll close it with defense. 'cause I mentioned the stat, one error in nine games, eight for the Brewers. The Rays have to 'cause the Brewers

are really I mean the Guardians don't make you pay as much, right? If you make a mistake, you might be able to get away with it against the Guardians. Brewers are not going to let you get away with mistakes, giving extra outs. Now the Brewers were able to overcome some of their errors, but Tampa has to play really good defense in this series.

Alright, final predictions. We're gonna wrap it up. What do you guys have this World Series ending as? Who's who's champion and how many games?

speaker-1 (28:10)

I guess I'll go. I I so badly wanna pick the Rays just because ever it seems like everyone's picking the Brewers. I'm gonna say Milwaukee and seven. I just I still feel like this team is just you just can't get rid of You just can't kill off. There's just something that they have.

You know, you go seven and one against the Padres and the Dodgers to get here. And that's not to take away from the Rays, who had a great season. And they swept the Yankees, which I know a lot of people like to hate on the Yankees, but they beat three superstar pitchers to do that. So I but I just I don't know. Just feels like Milwaukee's got too much mojo, just a little bit more, and that's the deciding factor for me. I'm gonna take the Brewers in a full seven games.

speaker-2 (28:56)

Yeah, I think the Brewers are significantly more talented. I wouldn't be surprised if they come out a little slow. I mean, they've had what a week off and the Rays are kind of coming on coming through some momentum. I'll take Brewers and six. I think they do come out slow. I think if Nick Martinez can potentially out duel Miz in game one, that's a huge momentum shift.

ultimately I think the Brewer's gonna take in six. I really hope they do clinch in six or in seven games, just because I think a brewer's clinch at home would be incredible for their first title and I do not want to see a World Series celebration at the drop that is

speaker-0 (29:42)

Everyone going down the slide if they win in Milwaukee. Everyone's going down the slide. Pat Murphy is going down the slide.

speaker-2 (29:50)

They have to.

speaker-0 (29:51)

Pat Murphy, Kevin Cash faced off in the ninety-eight College World Series, I believe. Kevin Cash was a player and Pat Murphy was still a manager. I'm I'm taking I mean it easily the I feel like easily the Brewers. It's it's like crying baby versus nuclear bomb to me. Like the the Brewers just are so much more battle-tested. It's just the the National League was better. We've talked about it all year, how the National League

was so much better than the American League. And the Rays, just nothing excites me about the Rays. They just they they don't get me excited at all. I mean that I'm glad maybe I'm glad the trop has a little bit of juice. game six had a lot had had some juice. I will give the trop that. but Brewers and five. I'm gonna take Brewers and five here. I feel like we're we've had time between and any baseball. I feel like people are like

hyping up a little bit more than than what we're really gonna see. Maybe they do steal game one though. I could see the Rays stealing game one. like you said, Caleb, just coming out really flat. And we'll have at least a little bit of juice for game two, three and four. But Alright, you guys have anything else on the World Series?

speaker-1 (31:06)

just let's just have a let's just have a great one. I mean it's not the Dodgers. We know the lockout is looming. let's just enjoy this. yeah I I know I will. I haven't

speaker-0 (31:18)

Yeah,

will we have baseball games in April, March, April?

speaker-1 (31:23)

Mm. gonna say we get in May or June of next year. If I had to make that prediction.

speaker-2 (31:29)

I'm kinda on base with that. That's why I've become a diehard fan of the Fukuoma soft bank hawks for the MPB season next year.

speaker-1 (31:39)

There you go.

speaker-2 (31:40)

Let's go Hawks.

speaker-0 (31:42)

Hell yeah. Gohawks. Alrighty. is that wait, is that Dalbeck's team? Where does the where or is he with the Giants?

speaker-2 (31:49)

He's Yomi Yuri Giants, but

speaker-0 (31:51)

speaker-2 (31:52)

speaker-0 (31:58)

Darwinzen? Darwinzen

Hernandez is there? That's a that's a really that's a tough offer to pass up.

speaker-2 (32:06)

But we don't talk about him. Yeah.

speaker-0 (32:09)
