JACKSONVILLE, FL- After a tough loss in week 13 and a couple of days to think about it, I've noticed some things from the fanbase that have been bothering the group since week

1. The idea that Press Taylor is to blame for our offense not performing well is ridiculous. In the last game, our offense scored 31 points even though our defense was torn apart by a backup quarterback, Jake Browning. Trevor missed a few throws, but he still had a great game with 258 yards, completing 22 out of 29 passes and scoring 3 touchdowns. It's even more impressive considering our backup quarterback came in and completed 9 out of 10 passes, gaining 63 yards, and almost threw a game-winning pass to the 2-yard line if it wasn't called back due to a holding penalty. Getting rid of our offensive coordinator is not the solution. He called the second half of every game in the 2022 season, where we had 5 comeback wins and scored more points in the second half than the first half in all

2. Press Taylor can't block, catch, tackle, run, intercept, or affect the ball in any way. He calls the plays and adjusts based on what the other team gives us. The simple idea that we should, “take more deep shots like last year and stop with the screens”, as some fans have suggested, fails to consider that our offensive line needs to give enough time for a play to develop. I'm no expert in offensive play calling, but it's easy to understand that screens and quick game plays are our only options when our offensive linemen are immediately pushed into Trevor's space as soon as he gets the ball.

This team has had a rough history and has turned a full 180 with potentially 2 consecutive seasons at .500 or above something we haven’t done in 17 years. I want it just as bad as any Jags fan but firing a successful coordinator for stuff he cannot control does no justice to the contribution and service he has provided this team. If they never said anything week 1 everyone would still think Dougy P was calling the shots. I love this team, this fanbase and our path to the bowl that we’re only just starting. I don’t care where you are, what you’re doing or who you’re with. In your head or out loud. Give me one big DUUUVVVAAALLL for the team we all love! DTWD!
